THE MIRROR BOOTH
Our chic, modern photo booth takes fun to a whole new level!
As guests walk up to the mirror, colorful animations and a voice guidance invite them to engage in a magical, interactive selfie experience and leaves them with a photo keepsake.
Where else can you find a giant talking interactive mirror with touchscreen technology combined with professional photo capabilities?
Features
The mirror booth is outfitted with a professional full frame camera/lens combo and the highest quality printer we could get our hands on. We don’t skimp on gear!
The mirror booth comes with 200+ premium animations to choose from. Each and every animation has been especially created to engage your guests. Animations can be tailored to your event – often, at no additional cost.
One of the most exciting features of our photo booth is the optional, built-in Signing & Stamping Feature. Guests love having the ability to personalize their keepsake with this unique and interactive feature. With Signature mode ‘on’, guests can draw or sign their name directly on the mirror, which will then be printed out on the photo strip.
Email/text sharing option allows guests to share photographs, animated GIF files and full videos (with or without audio)
While the mirror captures the photos, the software can transform the still photos into a GIF or a video file which can easily be sent to your email and then shared to your social channels. (we can also provide time-lapse video of line outside the booth – just as amusing to watch! If you are actually reading this and ask for it, its free!)
With the ability to create video and audio recordings, guests can record a message at your wedding or simply record a video clip with friends. Pick your favorite tune and we sync it with the video for the most entertaining keepsake.
Every aspect of the Full Frame Photo Booth makes sure your guests walk away with a smile. With the Photo Retake option, your guest review and choose to retake a photo in a seamless, time-efficient manner that ensures they get the perfect shot. The mirror will display the shot and allow them to chose to print, or retake.
Bring excitement to your event with the booth’s optional, built-in Scream feature. Can you recall those candid shots of you screaming as you ride down a terrifying roller-coaster? Full Frame Photo Booth’s engaging scream feature captures the same idea by inviting users to reach the highest level of the scream bar as their photo is being taken. The results can be visually presented on the final photo with the achieved score. The end results? Some great laughs and a hilarious photo keepsake
You read it right! Full Frame’s intuitive mirror lets guests play social games like Pong and Tic-Tac-Toe directly on the mirror.
The Green Screen feature lets your guests position themselves anywhere in the world with a simple green screen backdrop.
Technology
We exclusively use professional full frame cameras, sub-dye printers and studio flashes in our mirror photo booth
Full Frame Sensor vs APS-C Sensor (nerds only!)
So, what exactly does ‘full-frame’ mean? A full-frame camera uses a sensor that’s the same size as a single frame of traditional 35mm film, measuring 36 x 24mm. The more popular APS-C (cropped) sensor size, found in most digital cameras and virtually every photo booth in town, measures 22 x 15mm. This means a full-frame sensor has more than 2.5 times the surface area than a APS-C sensor.
So does bigger mean better? Well, yeah! In the camera world size does matter… Some people will say a full frame camera in a photo booth is overkill, and they may be right. Many people do not need/want the highest quality images possible from a photo booth – and thats totally kool. For anyone that does want professional quality photos, we are here for ya 🙂
APS-C Sensor
APS-C image sensors can be found in most photo booth cameras and are considerably smaller in size than a full frame sensor. Because an APS-C image sensor is smaller than a full frame sensor, APS-C cameras have a smaller area to capture information (photographic light). In addition, the scene is ‘cropped’ and the angle of view is also narrower, as illustrated below.
Full Frame Sensor
A full frame camera/lens combination simply delivers better image quality. The reason is the pixel pitch. A larger sensor with the same number of pixels means each individual pixel is larger; this allows more light to be captured. Full frame systems also produce finer details because the pixels are larger, creating a better dynamic range than an APS-C sensor would with the same number of pixels. Professional photographers use full frame cameras. Consumer cameras use APS-C sensors. So why is APS-C used exclusively in other photo booths? Our booth was built to fill this void.
Using a sub-dye printer ensures photos dont smudge. It also allows us to produce incredibly high quality prints in record time. We can handle 4×6, 5×7 or 6×8. You chose.
A camera can only capture light that is made available to it. Having a full frame camera and professional printer will not produce amazing images without enough light. We use a 400w studio flash that will brighten up the scene just enough to get that perfect shot. Our not-so-flashy flash really ties the photo together.
